An Intimate Desert Elopement at Joshua Tree National Park

Erin and Wei chose one of our favorite destinations in California for their intimate elopement—Joshua Tree National Park. Just the two of them, the desert, and the otherworldly beauty of twisted Joshua trees and massive boulder formations.

The day began at the iconic Joshua Tree House, the legendary mid-century modern retreat known for its floor-to-ceiling windows, minimalist design, and panoramic Mojave Desert views. After getting ready in this architectural sanctuary, we ventured into the national park for their ceremony and romantic portraits.

We worked closely with Erin and Wei to plan the most beautiful locations among the ancient Joshua trees and towering rock formations. Shot alongside our good friend Jamie English, this elopement captured something special in its simplicity—just two people, genuine connection, and the raw desert landscape.
